Relentless humor, endearingly quirky characters and a host of catchy tunes: For over ten years, the musical comedy “Die Königs vom Kiez”, directed by Schmidt-Chef Corny Littmann himself, has been a real crowd-pleaser on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. The “probably most heartfelt declaration of love to St. Pauli” (Hamburger Morgenpost) about a seven-member, chronically bankrupt family and their escapades has already thrilled over 400,000 visitors*innen in 1200 performances at the Schmidt Theater. Now the quirkiest clan from St. Pauli is traveling to Cologne.
It’s official: From August 14 to October 11, 2026, the quirkiest clan from St. Pauli will be performing again at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz. The successful musical from Hamburg’s Schmidt Theater already thrilled Cologne audiences in 2024.

The revue show “BOYBANDS FOREVER” by Thomas Hermanns and choreographer Marvin Smith celebrates what is probably the most underestimated genre in pop history: the boyband.
Hosted by a show-savvy pop lover and comedy powerhouse, an international top-tier cast and a live band present the greatest hits from Take That, the Backstreet Boys, N’Sync, East 17, One Direction and many more.
With humor, the show illuminates the typical boyband formula, dispels prejudices and, above all, puts the music front and center. Because songs like “Back for Good”, “Everybody” or “Breathe Easy” are among the great pop songs of the past 50 years – for fans and critics alike.
I work closely with directors, costume designers, producers, and actors/singers/dancers to conceptualize and define the desired look for each character.
Based on this, my team and I must be able to apply various makeup and hair techniques to achieve the desired look.
I handle the budget and personnel management of the makeup artist team.
In doing so, I ensure that resources and budget are used effectively and I monitor the team’s quality and working hours.
Additionally, I ensure compliance with safety regulations and hygiene standards for the use of makeup products.
Makeup artists and performers must have good personal chemistry. The right team composition enhances the preparation and application of makeup and hair.
From the artistic concept to the final implementation, I create masks and prosthetic pieces, perfectly tailored to the respective requirements.
I design and create makeup and hairstyle designs that emphasize the character’s personality and features and achieve the best possible effect, especially on stage.
With extensive knowledge of styles and implementation methods, I design and create perfectly matched wigs and hairpieces.
