Theresia Walser’s bitterly angry comedy is about three wives of former dictators: Ms. Margot, Ms. Imelda and Ms. Leila (similarities with Margot Honecker, Imelda Marcos and Leila Trabelsi, Ben Ali’s wife, are intended). While the illustrious ladies and their interpreter are waiting for a press conference to mark the filming of their lives, they try to outdo each other. But in this highly amusing catfight they only agree on three points: their bad image is based on a misunderstanding, the freedom of the people is overrated, and you really don’t have to apologize for anything. …
